The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.
It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give - it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!
Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]
Go to the website here.

Just please don’t click on the one for autism because the money raised goes to Autism $peaks, a.k.a. Eugenics ‘R’ Us.

URGENT! Home needed IMMEDIATELY for abandoned kitten in Baltimore/DC area

discluded:

Yesteryday, my boss found a kitten wandering around outside near Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 30oF weather. He says it’s jet black and looks about 5 months old. Its claws are trimmed, so this kitten was someone’s pet before they decided they didn’t want it anymore and dumped it outside.

My boss took it to a shelter, but someone told him the particular shelter it was sent to only lets an animal stay for 72 hours before they put it to sleep if no one picks it up. Since this was yesterday, there’s less than 48 hours for us to find it a home.

I can’t take in the kitten because of where I live, and my boss really doesn’t want anything to happen to it, but he recently rescued a puppy too, so he doesn’t have room for another animal. If you live in the greater Baltimore-Washington DC metropolitan area and can take in a cat, please, please contact me. You can either email me at snowyvienna@gmail.com or call/text me at 571-277-8350.

Please reblog to help save this kitten!

wildlifecollective:Golden Tabby Tiger

A golden tabby tiger is one with an extremely rare color variation caused by a recessive gene and is currently only found in captive tigers. Like the white tiger, it is a color form and not a separate species. In the case of the golden tiger, this is the wide band gene; while the white tiger is due to the color inhibitor (chinchilla) gene. There are currently believed to be fewer than 30 of these rare tigers in the world, but many more carriers of the gene.
